Where is mazda3 made

Wow, what a worldy list! The long arm of Mazda automaking reaches across several different regions and continents. Two of the three facilities that Mazda uses in North America are co-owned by Ford. This interesting relationship benefits both automakers. Mazda gets to use the plants, while Ford is able to take advantage of innovations like the excellent Mazda6 chassis and platform design. Mazda Plant Locations We all know and love Mazda vehicles, but do you know where the manufacturer actually works its magic to bring these wondrous creations into being?

Doesn't matter where your crappy nissan sentra was made if the finished product has a pos jatco cvt in it. They all fall apart at about the same time. Word to the wise jatco tranys are in a lot of other makes. Dun with posting deals. Linux User I paid a premium to buy a lexus made in japan. I love everything japanese minus the anime n porno, i still have electronics from the 90s and my camry ran til k so why mess around with a good thing??

Last edited by Hindustunna on Feb 28th, am, edited 1 time in total. My last Mazda3 was made in Mexico. Had it for almost exactly 5 years to the day. The car looked, felt and drove no differently than my previous vehicle which was Japanese made.

I replaced it with another Mazda3, also made in Mexico. I guess time will tell on this one. This is something I think I'll have to weigh in. Working with fleet cars and seeing how they handle wear and tear particularly with the interior you can see some differences when it comes to build quality.

You have to differentiate between where the country of origin could've made a difference and when it wouldn't have mattered. If it was some component that was poorly designed and flimsy to start with, it doesn't matter where it came from then its going to suck. So if its something where it shouldn't have fallen apart, or shouldn't have passed QC this is where you can lay issue with the assembly.

If you're asking me which countries appear to have the best build quality due to apparently stricter quality control, these are the countries I'd say are best. Germany, Japan, Belgium. Where the Belgium cars come from? It would've been the Volvos like the C30 and S40, never seen build quality faults in any of those.

With Japan, on the whole they assemble the cars extremely well especially given some of these vehicle's price points, but you'll find Mitsubishi among the worse ones where you can have trim loose mainly due to cheap poor design. With the Germans, for me they're unquestionably the best at assembling cars This has nothing to do with reliability, you can have a German made car suffer multiple faults, that could be the fault of the company's engineers, designers or accountants rather than the worker putting it together.

Next are the countries where the quality controls are generally good but slip ups can occur. As much as I don't like the Chinese government, due to the big investments in manufacturing by several companies even if you wish to be picky finding fault in the assembly is not as easy. Next is the countries where the quality control is a tossup. Sometimes they're fine, other times or another company its terrible.

I know many will trash Mexican build quality, but for me its entirely down to how well the automaker's QC is. If its a Mexican assembled Nissan, yeah unfortunately I've seen constant build quality related issues where its things like bad adhesive leading to the dead pedal peeling off, trim that simply didn't fit and won't return to where it should, etc.

Easiest example for me to see was the Nissan Versa old model , it wasn't well made and I've seen plenty of its build quality issues and they were significant, yet I've been in the Nissan Tiida which is the same car only made in Japan Yet, the Mazdas and the Fords coming from Mexico, significantly less issues.

With America, some of the worst assembled cars I've seen came from America. Best example is the old Chevrolet Trailblazer, even when its not old it was a rattly annoying interior. My dad's Toyota Avalon is another US made vehicle, its a reliable car However on the other hand some of the American assembled stuff was also fine, the Nissans for instance are better build in the US than Mexico.
