Having completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle, Dr Yu completed his specialist orthopaedic training in Sydney.

Further sub-specialised fellowship training was undertaken for 2 years, locally in Sydney and internationally in the UK and France, which allowed Dr Yu to obtain a global perspective and expanded skill-set.

Dr Yu welcomes both private and public patients and services the Northern Beaches trauma service with on call duties at the new Northern Beaches Hospital. On a personal note, he lives in his area of practice with his wonderful wife, being a specialist orthopaedic nurse, and his young children. Dr Yu is bi-lingual with a strong command of the Chinese Mandarin Language. With a polite, friendly and professional persona, Dr Yu looks forward to meeting you and assisting in any way possible.
